As
a third generation printer, Mark had fallen asleep
to the sound of printing presses as a child. When
he grew up, he joined the United States Air Force,
after his tour of duty, he was honorably discharged
and returned home.
Mark went to work for his family's printing company,
starting in the bindery. There he cut and folded
paper. Soon he went on to feed and wash-up the
large printing presses, but the pre-press department
began to capture his interest. So Mark quickly
learned how to etch and compose the plates that
were needed for the printing presses. After years
of learning the printing business, Mark was able
to help grow his family's printing shop into a
multi-million dollar enterprise.
For years, computers have been Mark's hobby. So,
using his computer skills and printing experience,
he began to design the micro cut paper templates.
After many years, The CD Sleeve, Cube and Sliding
Card's software and templates were perfected.
The program made it easy to quickly create customized
cards, photo cubes and CD sleeves with photos
and personalized text.
My family is proud to have served the printing
needs of Southern California since 1961. I grew
up understanding the importance of listening to
the customer, and being able to go above and beyond
their expectations. All of the products designed
here at GAC carry on our family's tradition of
quality and value I hope you'll enjoy our products
as much as we enjoy creating them. Mark Vanderburg
